I was thinking a lot about it since I barely know how to handle one, and the last ask-blog I did didn't go really well and I felt weird because i'm bad at trying to stay as Canon as possible/make it interesting. semi-heavy adhd vent tw 🫢🫢

personally of the opinion that the worst thing about adhd is the subtlety. we joke abt how obvious and silly it is but its barely visible 95% of the time.

& u spend your whole life not knowing if the mental struggle you have doing basic shit is what everyone deals with or if something's wrong. even when you KNOW you have adhd and even have it TREATED you STILL don't know if you're having a normal amount of obstacles.

i've been on meds for two years now and i just spent a whole fucking summer semester not sure if i was having adhd burnout or if my meds weren't working or if i was actually just being lazy. i think its all three, but who knows! and now i have a final tomorrow that i have to pass and i dont know if i can because i could barely fucking do any work all semester.

this happens like every year/semester but this one particularly stings cause it was supposed to be really good this time!! lots of free time, one class to worry about, the best nd-friendly note-taking system i've ever used, lots of flexibility, and friends to spend time with. it was even a science class!! chem, not bio, but better than non-science, right? but apparently, the only way i can ever stay motivated and on the ball is if im chained to a super-stressful and merciless schedule. so i have to choose between my long-term success and my mental health!!

i don't envy neurotypicals for the weird fucking ways they operate sometimes but good lord fucking jesus it sounds nice to be able to do things. i feel like a loaded gun with a busted trigger; i have all these amazing ideas and well-thought-out schedules and all the passion and desperation to follow through, but my brain and body just. won't. do it.

He was honestly scared he'd miss you. But he figured you'd have to get the kid before you left so he tried the daycare.

He just hung around outside the daycare until you exited holding the small 4 year old.

You honestly didn't expect to see Ghost there. It did scare you a bit ngl.

Y'all kinda do a stare down for a bit before you shoot him a smile that makes his tummy flutter

You introduce him to your nephew and he's just kinda awkwardly standing there looking at the kid like "idk wtf to do"

Anyway he figured that the way to any man's heart is through his stomach so he decides to sacrifice one of his snacks on you for the kid. Simon ALWAYS has snacks for you hidden in one of his pockets.

Decides to use YOUR daily treat for the kid as a bribe.

Kinda digs a package of gummies out of his pocket and then shakes them a bit "He old enough for this?" is all he asks. Doesn't wanna hop the kid up on sugar without your permission.

You see it for what it is, a bribe to make the kid like him.

and honestly you find it kinda sweet that he's trying

so you say yeah

he kinda taps the kid's arm with the package and the kid turns his head back to look

cue less mean mugging and very focused eyes on said package of candy.

Ghost can't help but crack a little smile under his mask

kid is cute, there's no denying it. Looks a bit like you.

He rips the package open and offers it to the kid.

The kid reaches in with his little fingers and grabs a few and then promptly shoves them into his mouth, still basically hiding in your neck.

Pretty sure the kid also eats a bit of your hair because you feel a bit of a pull so you can't help but wince at the pain. Kids are gross sometimes.

You tell Simon you guys gotta go because you need to get home and cook dinner

simon nods and follows you out to your car and watches you buckle the kid into his carseat

He's mentally taking notes in case he ever has to do it on his own

Tells you to be safe and that he'll see you tomorrow and gives you the rest of the candy for the kid later. He'll have more for you tomorrow anyway.

Watches you drive out of the parking lot and doesn't go back inside until he can't see the car anymore

One day you guys will be going home together :)

He’s going to act like he’s just soooo above it all. Like this silly little outing is nothing more than a waste of time and “Don’t we have better things to do?” At the same time, he’s going to be genuinely offended if you suggest leaving without getting a funnel cake

He gets a big kick out of going onto the rides that take your pictures at the end and looking the camera dead in the lens- straight stoned face. He never buys them though- You want him to spend 30 dollars on what essentially amounts to fancy paper with a bunch of strangers on it? Genuinely, with nothing but malice in his heart, you can eat his ass. He just takes a picture of it with his phone and moves on

He is NOT a fan of the mascots. At all. You’d think a guy who's been through The Horrors™ as many times as Wesker has wouldn’t think twice about a guy in a rat costume. You’d be wrong. Something about their dead eyes, permanent smiles, and the fact that sometimes you can see the human eyes peeking out of their mouths just Does Not Sit Right With Him. He’s not scared, no, that would be childish. But he is on guard

At some point- you’re going to have to find a semi dark place while he waits for the migraine meds to kick in. The sounds of screaming children, the bright sun, the heat- sensory nightmare. Let him sit with his earbuds in for a second, he’ll be ready to go again in thirty minutes

He is almost shockingly good at skeeball. He insists to you that he’s never played before- this is in fact his first time at an amusement park after all. You don’t believe him, but you’ll take the giant plushie he won you as a prize anyway

He’s actually a big fan of the Ferris Wheel. It’s one of the last things you guys do, so it’s later at night when you do it. He’s genuinely captivated by the rainbow lights of the fair and the crisp summer air. He even puts his arm around you, which is like third base for him! (/j but also kinda /srs)

Any sort of water ride and he’s out. Sorry, walking around in soaked socks and shoes when you don’t have to genuinely sounds like a nightmare.

At first, he’s reluctant to stay for the firework show. Are you not tired? Have we not done enough? Where do you get this energy from- peepaw needs a nap. But, then they start up and he gets it. The pretty lights, the energy of the crowd. Okay, he sees the appeal

You’re going to have to put up with him blasting Bowie on the way home btw. You’re both tired, but his need for control won’t let him allow anyone else to take the wheel. But, this does come with the rare sight of seeing Wesker actually loosen up a bit and sing along with a song- so really you’re the winner here

Chris brings a very Dad energy to the table. He’s the guy that’s reminding you to put on sunscreen, and take breaks, and drink water- generally just trying to keep you alive. Ironically, he keeps forgetting to do these things himself

Chris is mostly here for the food I'm ngl to you. Where else is he going to get deep fried turkey leg wrapped in a soft pretzel drenched in nacho cheese? No where, it’s not ethical to combine that many flavors anywhere else- let him have this

He’s not actually a huge fan of rollercoasters. He’s happy to hold your bag and wait while you ride them, but he gets enough excitement from his job on a day to day basis. The pacemaker can’t handle much more stress than he already puts in under. (Ignore the previously mentioned turkey leg monstrosity when he says this)

He is a big fan of dark rides though. He likes the story that they tend to tell and that they tend to be. Key word tend. Chris isn’t a coward, he’ll get on the Tower of Terror (may she rest in peace) it just isn’t his favorite thing in the world

So, I feel like we all have that one friend who has The Curse™. You know the one, the one that makes it to where wherever you go to any sort of amusement park, carnival, or outdoor outing it rains? Like, it could be clear blue skies across the board on the forecast, but a downspout has manifested out of nowhere? Yeah, that’s Chris. He’s developed an appreciation for the stage shows because of this, and it’s where his fondness for dark rides was born from. And you thought he was crazy for bringing a raincoat

You know the couples shirts that are horrendously heteronormative? His Minnie, her Mickey; His Beauty, Her Beast, ect ect. You know the ones? He forces you guys to wear those shirts. Only, He’s the one wearing the “Girl shirt” (please hear my eyeroll when I say that) And you wear the “Boy Shirt” (Eye roll, can you hear it? Can you hear me rolling my eyes so aggressively I saw the back of my skull?) Purely because he finds it funny and does not know shame.

Okay, so High Striker: It’s the strong man carnival game. You know the one, hit a target with a mallet, and a ball goes up to ring a bell. You know that one? Okay cool- So that game is rigged by having a mechanism the game master can control to change what amount of pressure is needed to make the ball go up. They can make the game impossible to win, or so easy a child could do it. This is all set up to say that Chris barely got the ball halfway up the bar and you straight up rang the bell. You would think this would hurt his pride- but quite the contrary! He spends the rest of the day bragging about you to anyone who will listen instead

I think Chris carries you around the park when you get tired. That’s it, that’s the point. Doesn’t matter what size you are, he didn’t spend that much time in the gym not to be able to pick up and carry his partner when they’re tired

Chris is actually a really big fan of the firework show. I have a headcanon that Chris is a little bit of a firebug (This is due to my own liberal use of incendiary grenades) so if you’re down to stay and watch the pretty fire fill up the sky- he’s more than happy to join you. That being said, he’s also not going to protest if ya just wanna go home

The ride back is a calm, windows down with classic rock playing kinda ride. He’s already starting to turn red on his nose and cheeks, but that's a problem for tomorrow Chris

Leon Kennedy~

Generally speaking, Leon isn’t really an amusement park type of guy. They’re really overwhelming. But, he’s also just happy to be anywhere you are, and he doesn't dislike them. So here we are!

That being said, he definitely takes pictures with all the mascots cause he thinks it’s funny. Like when the goth kids go and see Santa at Christmas. It’s also definitely to heal his inner child, but you won't catch him admitting to that

If you guys do go to the Rat Park, he spends the entire time being a little bit put off by the mouse’s cult. Grown ass adults competing with literal children will never not be pathetic to him, and he will in fact voice it. What are they gonna do? Pick on someone their own size? doubtful.

He likes a decent mix of rides, but he refuses to go on any roller coasters that have a loop. Yes, he understands they are perfectly safe. Yes, he knows how they work with centripetal force. He’s aware of all of these facts. But you’re straight up not going to logic him out of this one babes

Leon, much like Chris, will eat just about anything put in front of him- he is not picky. He has a side quest to find the weirdest food that the park offers and try it. So far it’s been the turkey leg monstrosity. He did not finish it.

As far as games go he sees them as a bunch of giant, rigged scams that are akin to gambling- without the randomized aspect. Ya just gotta home the game master likes you. That’s why he sticks to the tried and true and never ever rigged claw machine. And he’s shockingly good at it too, he’s serious about getting that off brand Scooby Doo in a fireman costume plushie

I think he would genuinely kill over from dehydration if you weren’t there constantly reminding him to hydrate. I’m sorry, Leon gives me the vibes of a guy who straight up doesn’t drink enough water, ya gotta force it (in a loving way ofc)

I think he’s another victim of the “this is overwhelming and I have a headache” curse. Expect to find yourself at one of the indoor stage shows while he slumped down, sunglasses on and earbuds in, waiting for the ibuprofen to kick in. Would water help this condition? Yes. Will that convince him to drink it more regularly? Probably not

Leon is not down for the fireworks. Like, if you really insist, watching from the car is an option. But he really doesn't want to stick around for the loud booming noises followed by the crowd crush of people leaving. Sorry Dear

He does seem more lively on the way home than he did on the way there, and with a little bit of prodding, you may even be able to get him to admit he had fun!

Piers Nivans~

Piers planned the trip. His family used to take a trip to the Rat Park every year, to say he has this down to a science is an understatement. It’s an art and he is a master. Just tell him what rides you wanna ride, where/what you wanna eat, and if you wanna hit up any of the shops and then leave it to him. 

He’s efficient and keeps a tight schedule, knowing when to get on what rides to avoid long lines and when to do other things. That being said, he’s not inflexible. If plans change or something comes up, he’s generally pretty good at restructuring and planning on the fly. Even though he’s really rather not

Piers is an adrenaline junkie. Unlike Chris, he craves the thrill without the imminent threat of death looming over him. As such, he wants to ride every roller coaster at the park. The more Gs, the better. It gets him out of his head.

He’s also not a fan of the mascots, but in the same way Wesker isn’t. Apparently one time when he caught Cinderella smoking on her break once before they really cracked down on that and the magic was just ruined. Now he just sees some underpaid and overworked employee cooking themselves alive in those costumes and just feels sad

He’s like, lowkey a snob about the food im ngl. Like, all the really popular things everyone wants are great, and if you really want it sure, but there's like, a hundred other places with better food and shorter lines, you gotta trust him on this. And the worst part is: He’s right, the public hypes up the most mediocre things while ignoring the extraordinary

He’s also a big advocate for checking out the stage shows. You don't have to stay for the whole thing, but they’re in air conditioned buildings where you can sit and recuperate, and they actually tend to be pretty good! Well, decent, but it’s a good way to take a break

As far as the games go- he sucks at them and doesn't even try to hide it man. ON a battlefield he’s sharp, with surgeon steady hands and laser focus. You want him to throw a bean bag into a clown's mouth? Completely incapable. You’re not sure if he’s actually just that bad, or if he’s playing it up cause he thinks it’s funny. 

Self appointed Keeper Of The Things. Cards, hotel keys (If ya traveled), IDs, anything deemed important he’s the one keeping track of them. It’s not that he doesn't trust you- it’s more of a “If something goes wrong I only have myself to blame and I’d rather be mad at myself than at you.” Does that make sense? Does anyone else do that? Just me? Okay, well now Piers does too

Piers is neutral to the firework display. Seen one light show, you’ve seen 'em all. But, if you really want to watch them, who is he to tell you know? They are really pretty

If he’s not in the driver's seat, he’s passing out immediately on the car ride back. In his defense, he’s been up since like 4 am planning and getting everything ready, it's almost a miracle he didn’t pass out on one of the dark rides

Love (Alastor x Fem! Reader) (Hurt/comfort)

Established relationship, hurt/comfort because I'm a sucker for it, Alastor is kinda broken in the fic ngl, he's mad in love with reader. He fought Adam, ending up bloody and battered in his radio tower, and Y/N is desperately trying to find him.

"Al! Alastor, please answer me!” Y/N shouts, traveling up the ladder of the radio tower as fast as she could. A bum leg and shoulder adding onto the difficulty. Alastor was supposed to take care of Adam, but Adam was still alive until Niffty killed him. She heard the first man’s name being yelled by Lute, but made eye contact with a certain king of hell who nodded and she took off. Reaching the top of the radio tower, she notices the blood. “Al!” She screams as she pulls herself up even faster. Seeing the Radio Demon laying against his equipment and clutching his abdomen, clearly in a mass amount of pain. She scurried over to him, putting pressure on his wound as he dejectedly stared up to her eyes. Wincing as she grabs medicinal herbs and bandages from her bag that she always wore. “L..leave…” Alastor scoffs, trying to shoo her off with the hand that wasn’t clutching himself. Y/N didn’t reply, she couldn’t, not when he was this hurt. “Move your hand or I’ll make you move it” she says prying his hand off of himself, he tried to use the remainder of his energy to summon some sort of shadow to scare her off. The shadows reached only a few inches from his body before he began to cough, blood spurting from his mouth. At that moment she was terrified. She had never seen Alastor this hurt before, to the point that he couldn’t use any of his powers. She uses this moment to pry his arm away, basically ripping his coat and shirt open. Fortunately using the remainder of her own power to summon some of her own shadow beings to help her.

The small shadow imps helped in handing her the bandages and applying the herbs. When Y/N saw the wound healing on its own, she bandaged him, wrapping around his bare abdomen. Treating other minor scrapes and cuts as she went along. The woman's adrenaline finally wears off, as she nearly collapses next to Alastor. Carefully wrapping her arms around him, redressing him in a quickly mended coat that the imps had helped with whilst she tended to his smaller wounds. “My dear… I was weak” Alastor scoffs to himself, evidently the near death he had just suffered getting to his psyche. Wordlessly she rests her forehead on his, grabbing a clean rag and cleaning the blood from his lips and chin. “You did what you could, Alastor. The only ones who did any real damage to him were Lucifer and Charlie. The king of hell and his fucking daughter. If they could barely do anything, we can’t assume that we could” Y/N spoke softly, as she brought her hand up to stroke his ears. Something she had always done to comfort him. His ears twitch and he lulls his head to be closer to hand. “Let’s get you recovered before we worry about anything else” his head rests on her shoulder as he melts at the gentle touch. Alastor hated the way that this made him relax, made him soft, the Radio Demon, soft? No… No. He couldn’t.

Alastor tries to sit up again feigning a confident, fully recovered front, but as he goes to stand up the shooting pain of his injuries. Stumbling forward he expects to meet the cold floor of the radio tower, closing his eyes hoping that he could just pass out. However it never came, in its place were warm and gentle arms wrapped around him supporting him so he didn’t fall. “Hey now… Al, you can be weak around me. Trust me, honey” She said, and for once, he obliged. Using her arms to stand up straight and let her guide him down the radio tower.

‘God my body hurts’ Y/N thought to herself, her shoulder and leg causing an immense amount of pain. Something that Y/N didn’t think Alastor noticed.

— Y/N stumbled a bit after finally getting Alastor to a fully safe place to lay down, and recover. Shakily bringing tea over to him, she hadn’t had anyone tend to her wounds yet. The wounds on his abdomen were already almost fully healed as his skin mends itself together. He noticed how she stumbled, how her leg had a gash on it that was still slowly bleeding. “Darling?” He speaks, his radio effect no longer on as his staff was broken. “Yes, Al?” She sits next to him, placing a hand on the side of his chest that wasn’t damaged. Gods did he love the way she smiled at him, in a place that is nothing but overwhelming heat. Somehow her soft, warm aura made him melt again. “Lay down, dear. Let me take care of you. My darling doe” Alastor gestures as he gracefully sits up, having enough energy to summon shadows to grab the medical supplies that he needed to take care of her. She obliges as he half picks her up putting her on his lap, she smiles and lets her head rest on the radio demon's chest, as he soothes her with small kisses to her forehead as he cleans and mends her wounds. “I…Al” She was about to say something but settled for his name to avoid any awkwardness that may arise. “What were you going to say, darling?” He says, however he had an idea of what she wanted to say. For the first time someone wanted to say I love you to him, the first time in hell at least. But it's been decades since those words were spoken to him. They hadn’t even thought about it, and that's what Alastor enjoyed. That the usual relationship needs were not needed with her, they simply enjoyed each other's company more than the rest. “I… Thank you. For everything” she says instead, Alastor chuckles a bit and tips her head up with a finger underneath her chin to have her look into his eyes instead. “I love you Y/N” He leans down kissing her gently. Being careful to not wound anything further. She feels her cheeks heat up, blushing at the fact that Alastor. Him. He said it first. “I love you too, Alastor. So much” She says as he pulls away and continues to tend to his lover's wounds. Her uninjured arm wrapped around his neck, as he cradled her closely to his body. His wound throbbing a bit with the small movements but the loving feeling he felt from her was well worth the pain. Upon finishing mending her broken body together, he guides her to lay with him. Something that Alastor rarely initiated, so she obliges, as she lays her head on his chest. Letting herself get whisked away to sleep for the first time in days. The peace of feeling his chest rise and fall with every breath only furthered the onset of exhaustion over her body. “Sleep, my love” Alastor tells her, humming a show tune in which he knew would lead to Y/N falling asleep. He loved it, he loved the feeling, he loves her. An emotion even he thought he was incapable of feeling after he spawned in Hell after his time on earth. Having a few moments like this with, well, anybody really. He barely remembered his prior lovers in his life, he just knew that nothing ever felt right. He had known how to take care of any needs he might have experienced, especially being part deer and rut being a present situation he found himself in every year, that being much easier now having a partner. Y/N had only been in his life for two years, but those two ruts were the easiest ones he’s had over the time he’s been in hell. He gently brushes his claws through her tresses, as her arm is wrapped around his waist. “Oh darling… How you have me wrapped around your finger. It terrifies me” Alastor laughed to himself, as he closed his eyes allowing himself to meet her in sleeping.

Maria's death scene really gave me goosebumps - the way Commander Walters shouts "don't shoot they're children!" - the way Shadow's face changes when he sees Maria dead - the way Gerald was crying...

I think it really says a lot about G.U.N that in this version, they didn't even shoot Maria but they were still actively responsible for her death - that officer DID shoot and he DID try and aim at Maria and that explosion WAS caused by him

Obviously I hate G.U.N but I actually feel kinda bad for Walters now like he really did try to save her didn't he 🫤

Both Gerald and Walters refer to Maria AND Shadow as children which I appreciate cuz it shows how young Shadow really was when everything went to hell for him - he's just a baby your honour he didn't MEAN to blow up earth 🥺

We've seen Shadow smile so much in this film and it is SO refreshing to see! That smile right before he and Sonic team up to attack those robots Gerald sends after them is my favourite smile we've ever seen on him.

I also think the two end credits scenes together show that Eggman isn't really dead either - again it would be unlikely for them to kill him off PLUS if Shadow managed to chaos control himself out of there he could've easily gone back for Eggman too (and I mean who else is gonna be responsible for creating Metal Sonic?)

you are so nervous right now. 

“hey, don’t worry about it! everyone’s going to love you!” 

“right…” you replied, still feeling nervous as you and mikey stood outside the door. 

you had been confused when mikey first talked to you on one of the rare days he came to school, and you were even more confused when he had invited you to hang out after school. you had only ever spoken to him in passing, so when he invited you to go eat out with him, you were sure that he was trying to play you. 

at first, you didn’t fall for his wily tricks, even when he ended up falling asleep on your shoulder when he was taking the train home with you, (yeah, you definitely didn’t think it was cute…nope…). you had been suspicious of him, wondering if perhaps he’d been dared to try and get you to fall for him, (unfortunately, it wouldn’t be the first time that happened). 

however, when he confessed to you, things changed. 

you hadn’t seen it coming at all, but he casually admitted to having feelings for you while the two of you were walking to get food one day, saying that he immediately had thought you were one of the most beautiful girls he’s ever seen. 

“i’m flattered mikey, but you can stop it now…”

“huh?” 

“you’re probably doing this on a dare, right?” you sighed, furrowing your brows. “you can stop pretending to like me now.” 

“(y/n)-chan, you’re the prettiest girl i’ve ever seen in my life.” mikey responded, his face dead serious. 

“w-what?! stop! how could that even be true?!” 

“it is true. you can choose to not believe me, but i’ll keep telling you until you accept it.”

since that day, you’d been unsure of how to feel about him. you really wanted to believe him and accept that he liked you, but at the same time, you were too scared that he might be trying to prank you. he really did keep his promise of telling you every single day though, which was slowly starting to convince you. 

and so, here you were. 

he had been bugging you to come to a party with all his friends, saying that he wants everyone to meet the girl that stole his heart, (it was a cheesy line, but it made you feel all fuzzy inside). when you finally accepted the invitation, you knew you wouldn’t be able to back out of this when you saw the excited smile on his face. 

“you ready?” mikey asked, bringing you back to the present. he was looking at you with a soft smile, calming your nerves a bit. 

“yeah.” with a nod, mikey opened the door, leading the two of you inside to where everyone was. as soon as everyone caught sight of the two of you, they were immediately staring, making you fidget with a lock of your hair as you stood next to mikey. were you supposed to say something?

also, why were they all sitting in a circle. 

“mikey, good timing! we were gonna play seven minutes in heaven!” a boy with pink hair piped up, (why was he smiling so much?). 

“hah…? everyone here is dudes…” mikey stated, obviously confused. “i thought we were gonna play monopoly!” 

“well, you’re right, so you and your lady friend can go first!!” a boy with long black hair suggested, suddenly standing up and walking towards the two of you. “you don’t mind, right?” he asked you. 

“uh, i suppose not…” you responded, feeling a bit confused as to what was going on. when you looked at mikey, you could tell that he had something he wanted to say to everyone, but didn’t, instead just staring at them with a deadpan face. 

“well, since there’s no complaints, let’s get this started!” someone yelled out, making everyone cheer. without a moment to spare, the boy with black grabbed both of your arms with a gentle yet firm grip, dragging you and mikey towards a nearby closet.  

“oi, just whaddya think you’re-!” 

“shaddup, mikey, you’ll thank us later!”

before you could even think to question what you had just agreed to, the two of you were pushed into the closet, a click! sound coming from the doorknob, leaving you and mikey in darkness. 

“uh…what just happened?” you hesitantly asked. you could hear mikey sighing, beginning to knock on the door. it was to no avail though; they had turned the music back on, blocking out his voice to the outside world. 

“buncha idiots…” he muttered. “it’s okay, they’re just playing a prank, so let’s play along!” he said. through the darkness, you could see him sitting down, gesturing for you to sit down as well.

when you sat down next to him, you weren’t sure what to say. you had been really nervous to come inside and meet everyone, but now you were nervous because you were in this enclosed and dark space, very close to mikey, (you weren’t nervous he was going to do anything, you were just nervous that…actually, you’re going to be too flustered if you think about that). 

“by the way, (y/n)-chan, you’re the prettiest girl i’ve ever laid eyes on.” 

“h-huh? why’re you saying that now?” 

“well, i haven’t said it today, right?” mikey asked, seeming to be thinking for a moment. “i don’t think so…” your heart was starting to beat faster; of course, he’d been saying that to you since he’d confessed, but being in such close proximity to him in this situation was making you feel more and more convinced of his feelings. 

“...mikey, you…” you started, your eyes dropping to stare at your fingers in your lap. “you’re the best person i’ve ever met. i really like you.” you finally let out, shutting your eyes in anticipation. 

maybe i shouldn’t have said that…

“woah, seriously…?” you heard him say. you slowly opened your eyes, glancing over at mikey beside you. 

he was looking at you with the most childish and excited expression; you could almost see the sparkles in his eyes as his lips were curled into the most boyish and cute smile you’ve ever seen. 

“are you serious right now? you’re not joking?!” he asked, his voice shaking with nervousness and excitement. 

“no, i wouldn’t joke about that…” you murmured, smiling shyly at him. 

he suddenly moved closer to you, wrapping his arms around your frame tightly as you pulled you close to himself, his face buried in your neck. 

“ahh, i’m so happy right now…” he said, his voice low and soft, (you were trying to not focus on the fact that you could feel his breaths against your skin). 

hesitantly, you wrapped your arms around him as well, relishing in the way that he held you a bit tighter, as if he was never going to let you go. it felt like there was nothing that could affect you while in his arms; all you knew was mikey. 

“thank you for trusting me, (y/n)-chan.”
